Jake Baker - Lead Generation & Underwriting

An aerospace engineer turned house flipper and now real estate SEO nerd, Jake is committed to finding the best deals with a relentless approach to underwriting.

Jake commands the lead gen responsibilities, due in part to his affiliation with Lead Propeller, FLSonline, and Prophawk, which are software tools used for off-market lead gen techniques shown in the Lead Generation chart below. Jake's superpower is implementing systems. He is always thinking about how to scale while keeping the current assets in the portfolio healthy. “Those with the most leads find the best deals.”

In charge of underwriting, he oversees the deal from first analysis, writing offers, inspections, negotiating contracts, to closing the transaction. If he says it’s a good deal, you can trust that it is. The moment that property closes, it is passed on to Pablo to see the rehab through.

On his off days, find him wakeboarding behind a boat or in the mountains skiing with no service.

Pablo Saucedo - Project Management & Investor Relations

Excelling in the insurance industry, and creatively financing real estate deals through the years, Pablo is committed to ensuring smooth renovations and investor relations.

Head of project management, Pablo has his eye on every piece of the rehab. Maintaining budgets, timelines, and dealing with contractors weekly, not much slips through the cracks. Pablo’s superpower is efficiency. He is always asking "What is our most important next step?"

Pablo is the main point of contact for our investors. It’s one thing to make money for ourselves. It is especially satisfying to make money for other people at the same time. Guiding our investors through their investment and ensuring a smooth partnership with us is his top priority.

On his off days, find him on the golf course at the break of dawn or training his new puppy, Kobe.

Jake and Pablo have been investing in Real Estate together since 2017. Knowing each other for much longer, and understanding the other’s personality, they have divided up roles to play to each other’s strengths. Although all major decisions are made together, there is a high level of trust to get their respective jobs done.

We have an in-house bookkeeper that we have trained to do the meticulous day-to-day financials that we no longer have time for as we scale. There are many other important people that are involved in the process. This is definitely not a two-man show.

Think of lead generation as the top of the funnel. Deals don’t just get handed to us on the MLS. In fact, the majority of our deals come off-market. We network with people that can bring us off-market deals like real estate agents, wholesalers, and other investors. We also create a personal budget for campaigns to generate our own leads that we can convert.
